Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 26, 2026

Your trust matters. This page explains, in plain language, what data SaaSpy processes, why, and the control you have over it.

Who we are

SaaSpy ("we", "us") provides ad-intelligence tools for SaaS founders at getsaaspy.com. This policy explains what personal data we process and your rights over it. We act as the data controller for the data described here.

What we collect

Account data: your email address and basic profile, received when you sign in with Google.

Billing data: when you subscribe, our payment processor Stripe collects and stores your card and billing details. We never see or store your full card number; we keep a customer reference and your subscription status.

Usage data: the searches you run, companies you track and pages you visit, used to operate and improve the product.

Support data: messages you send through our live chat.

Technical data: IP-derived country (for pricing and access), device and browser information, and cookies needed to keep you signed in.

How we use it

We use your data to provide the service, authenticate you, run your subscription, respond to support, prevent abuse, comply with the law, and improve SaaSpy. We do not sell your personal data.

Processors we rely on

We share data with trusted processors only as needed to run the service: Supabase (authentication and database), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Crisp (live chat), Ahrefs (Domain Rating data), and Anthropic and Google (AI features). Each processes data under its own terms and security commitments.

The ad-library data

The competitor and ad data shown in SaaSpy comes from the public Meta, LinkedIn and Google ad libraries and public web sources. It is business information about advertisers, not your personal data, and we are not affiliated with those platforms.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and operate the checkout, plus the cookies set by Stripe and Crisp for their features. We do not run advertising trackers.

Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your profile, watchlist and activity, and cancel any active subscription. Some records may be retained where required by law (for example, billing records).

Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the GDPR and UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page, or contact us to exercise any right.

International transfers

Our processors may store data in the EU and the US. Where data leaves your region, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Changes & contact

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do. For any privacy request, email support@getsaaspy.com.
